The Lead-up

During our initial conversations with the Tone Tribe team, they passionately described their clients as “warriors,” individuals who continually achieve personal victories through dedication and strength. This powerful imagery became central to our design philosophy. To honour this personal trainer vision and logo, we delved into the stories of history’s most formidable female warriors, the legendary Viking shield maidens and valkyries

Inspired by their spirit, our starting point was the Tiwaz rune, an ancient Viking symbol representing victory, courage, and strength, perfectly aligning with the Tone Tribe ethos. This symbol encapsulated the bravery, resilience, and victorious spirit that Tone Tribe clients embody daily in their personal journey.

The Palette

Though the client initially requested a palette of earthy, natural tones to reflect strength and stability, we introduced an energetic and vibrant rusty orange to add warmth, vibrancy, and a unique, attention-grabbing contrast. This fresh addition beautifully complemented the grounding earth tones, creating an identity that resonates powerfully with Tone Tribe’s distinctive mission and reflects the power of their personal trainer logo.
